A Broken Vessel is a more refined version of much of the compositional elements and tools used in previous composed Big Fuss work, but being more procedural in their uses. It’s largely a collection of drones (or theoretical drones - drones which don’t have to necessarily be constantly heard in the picture to be responded to). I have been curious about them, or the idea of generally being more dogmatic in my approach, for some time.
I have been writing this and recording it consistently over summer and now you can listen to it if you wish. I hope for it to be more colourful than previous works. I would also describe it as having a strong environmental message behind the music.
And as always, I try to further embrace this music's imperfections.
