This album was performed, mixed and released in 24 hours. It is an attempt to use rhythmic ideas to channel pure, organic, impulsive music. There are nice contrasts in this album and I'm very pleased with the results from this experiment.

The first three tracks of the album are by Big Fuss and the final, bonus track is by the Big Fuss Rhythm Group, consisting of Fred Purse, Harry Furniss, Harry Irvine and Paul Anstey. I intend on releasing much more material with this group in the future and they have already inspired me to try and play more excitingly.

This album is an homage to all the great, creative, Black music that I listen to and I've tried to harness some more of the impulsive attitudes that come from this music that excites me so much. It is different though and as ever, I implore you, if you have time for this, to look further towards the far more innovative, revolutionary Black music of the 60s/70s etc.
